    April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

    Child Abuse Prevention Month kicks off on April 1, 2013.  The Denver Children’s Advocacy Center is proud to be a part of Be the One Colorado, a newly organized coalition of Colorado agencies and nonprofit organizations that serve children in the child protection system. As a cohesive group, we encourage all individuals to Be the One who helps prevent child abuse and neglect by taking action, getting involved, wearing blue, donating and more. Throughout the month DCAC will provide you with opportunities to show your support and get involved to help prevent child abuse in Colorado.  Outreach activities kick-off with an Awareness Rally on Monday, April 1st at 8:00am on the west steps of the State Capitol.  Click here to RSVP to the event.  A complete list of agencies supporting Be the One Colorado is listed below.

    1.  Attend Awareness Rally on Monday, April 1st at 8:00am on the West Steps of the State Capitol.

    3.  Run or walk in support of DCAC on May 18-19 at the Colfax Marathon.  There is a distance for everyone: 5k, 10 miler, Half-Marathon, Marathon. Click here to register
